Cheri brings an analytical approach to each client’s unique situation, working to review complex asset assignments, provide and review asset and pension valuations, trace non-marital portions, consult with clients and provide support for post-decree issues.
She brings true understanding, empathy and patience to each client having navigated the emotional strain and financial distress of her own protracted divorce which was made more acute as the stay-at-home spouse. She now has the experience of successfully stabilizing and rebuilding a life and she has a deep appreciation of the environmental and monetary stressors that her clients have been dealing with in their own divorce.
With Cheri’s entrepreneurial experience of owning and operating her own businesses prior to raising her family, she draws on that acumen, and she is a resource for pre- and post-decree financial issues.
Continuing her decades long commitment to the Chicago design community leading various executive boards and committees, Cheri is proud to currently serve as President of the Board of Directors of the Chicago Design Archive. The Archive encompasses work from 1890 to the present and is the premiere and permanent online record featuring Chicago-related experiential design, graphic design, and product design.
