Once your divorce is final, you will find that the end date you looked forward to for so long is actually the beginning of a new chapter. The firm offers “What’s My Next Chapter” services as needed by the hour:

Foreign Judgments For Out-Of-State Filing Of QILDROs And QCOs

If you were divorced in a state other than Illinois and you agreed to a division of an Illinois State Pension, your documents will need to be filed with an Illinois court. The firm can file this “foreign judgment” for you with all the necessary appearances, motions, signatures and certifications so the pension can be properly assigned per your out-of-state divorce agreement.
