Direct court filings for your divorce if you have finalized an agreement between yourselves and just need assistance navigating the court system.

Pre-divorce financial education and review
These services can be especially helpful and beneficial if you have relied on your spouse for your financial and budgeting activities and you would like to get up speed on the various assets you have accumulated over the course of your marriage.

Concierge Post-divorce Services
Once your divorce is final, you will find that the end date you looked forward to for so long, is actually the beginning of a new chapter. We offer “What’s My Next Chapter” services as needed by the hour:

  • Quit Claim Deed Services
  • Navigating COBRA assignments and Illinois Continuation Coverage
  • Reviewing QDRO assignments and pension documents post QDRO processing
  • Assisting in phone calls with your hired professionals to help you ask the questions that get you the answers you are looking for, understand the responses, and organize you for the next steps.
  • Financial education, review, and referrals to advisors. Assistance and support during phone calls with advisors and follow up to keep you on track.

Concierge QDRO and DRO Services
Hourly assistance as needed to review qualified and Non- qualified retirement assets before and after the assignment process.

QDRO, DRO, QILDRO, QMSCO, QCO review of documents drafted by other counsels.

Foreign judgments for out-of-state filing of QILDROs and QCOs
If you were divorced in a state other than Illinois and you agreed to a division of an Illinois State Pension, your documents will need to be filed with an Illinois court. Our office can file this “foreign judgment” for you with all the necessary appearances, motions, signatures and certifications so the pension can be properly assigned per your out-of-state divorce agreement.

    Official Name changes and updating Gender Status on federal, state and local government documents. Having experience navigating the complexities of obtaining these updates, Cheri McIntyre, our Executive Director, can be retained on an hourly basis to review your records and goals. She can advise on how to best to accomplish the gender and name updates during your or your child’s transition and provide assistance and support on an hourly retainer.
